The laser wand was very enticing to my kitten and helped him get on the wheel. Now he goes on it on his own and uses the laser wand as an extra toy.
I originally got this toy 4 years ago for a cat that loves and uses this every day for at least an hour.
I have moved and have my own cats now, thinking this was the absolute best toy on the market I had been eagerly awaiting when this would be back in stock for over a year.
Thinking that I should stock up if anything happens I ordered 2. Got them today and both broke the instant my cat touched it in the same way.
I am entirely disappointed in the severe drop in quality. The rod is less than half the original length. The faux fur is also half the size and gets ripped off immediately? Ridiculous.
The cat I originally had used this to play with was 23lb of pure muscle all thanks to the original toy and wheel. Her muscles would ripple under her fur just walking around. She would chomp down on this so hard that in trying to get it back I could lift her up with just the toy. Guess I won't be giving my cats that same joy.
I have raved about this toy when I ordered it to the point 4 coworkers ordered it as well and they all had the same issue the day they got it.
Unless this is reviewed and improved DO NOT buy this.

This cat wand is a great bonus to get with the cat wheel as it was for sure useful in getting one cat to use the wheel & both cats love it. It seems incredibly well made. They do not really care about the laser (which is odd for cats I think) but they love the feather part.
My cats love the wand part but the laser was so weak that my cats could not even see if and had no interest
Our crazy cat loooooves this toy. It’s the only toy that she will chase until she is out of breath (which is exactly what our little energy monster needs). This is our second purchase as she played so much with the first one that she quickly destroyed it. When we purchased it again and it finally arrived, she instantly knew and ripped it out of its shipping bag and wouldn’t even let us take the packaging off. I don’t know what it is but it’s the perfect toy for our cat and because she loves it, we love it.
