We offer two types of traction pads to line the interior running surface of your wheel: felt and foam. The foam pads (Cheetah, Leopard) are made from soft EVA foam, while the felt pads (Black, Gray) are made from a dense and durable felt. Foam pads are easier to wipe down for quick cleaning and are more water-resistant, while the felt pads hide claw and scratch marks better.

Regardless of type, each pad has an adhesive backing to make their installation on the Cat Exercise Wheel simple and hassle-free. The price listed is for a complete pack of traction foam pads. Order additional packs with your Cat Exercise Wheel or replace your existing pads once it’s time for a refresh.

!!! Carpet!!!
I purchased the foam pads to replace the CARPET that came with the wheel. Worried my cats would get a claw stuck!!!

Not a bad plan! The carpet liner that comes with those competitor's wooden wheels can definitely trap claws and hurt your cat's legs or paws when the wheel is in motion, so swapping it out for with our foam or felt pads will ensure a much safer and more pleasant experience for your kitty!

Can’t have the wheel without these pads!
These make the wheel! I love how easily they stick on and they weren’t too difficult to remove when they were ready to be replaced. Little pieces come out from their claws but it’s how they get traction.

New traction pads!
When we first bought our cat wheel, we didn't realize that the traction pad with the leopard spots would make us dizzy (we can't imagine how our cat saw them). We decided to replace those busy ones with plain grey and the replacement process was simple and we're thrilled with the new upgraded look (so is Georgia!).
