The wheel arrived yesterday. Easy to assemble (with my younger cat's help of course).
My younger cat (just turned 2) couldn't stay away from the wheel, showing off her running skills. Mother cat (4 years old) is a little more cautious to get on the big wheel alone, but she's working on getting used to it. We've only had it a day. So far I'm very happy with the Fast Cat exercise wheel, except that the wheel pins on right side of each base do not 'snap' in place and stay secure as the ones on the left side of each of the two base pieces do-its a design flaw. So both of the right wheels fall off whenever i need to move the unit. I was very disappointed that I had to pay another 20 dollars to purchase the extra felt to put on the outside of the wheel. It would look cheap and unfinished without them, so I went ahead and paid the extra money so the wheel would look nicer. Really, it should be part of every wheel, not way to squeeze snother $20 out of a customer.

A Must Buy
I ordered the outer wheel pad along with the exercise wheels and it definitely makes the wheel more stable so if you’ve had that issue it could fix it and all together doesn’t look cheaply made with all the plastic. Highly recommend.

Nicer overall look
The wheel looks nicer with the outer wheel pads. My kittens like the felt so they stretch upwards on the outside and move the wheel.

Although they were a little difficult to install and keep straight, they di make a difference in noise over not having them. 3 of 5 installation, 5 of 5 result.
