Cat Exercise Wheel

Cat Exercise Wheel

Product Review (submitted on September 1, 2017):
I got the One Fast Cat initially for my ten year old Manx - Bunny and her One Fat Daughter, Thumper. After my husband and I put the wheel together, we couldn't beg, trick or treat Bunny into going near it. Thumper gave it one big turn around and decided it would make a better scratching-post/napping spot. And for 6 months that's all it was. Then Big Lucy (our outside, Super-mouser, who just showed up last Halloween and decided she'd stay) gave birth to 5 adorable kittens. The last 2 (Jack and Jill) stayed here with mom (Big Lucy). So, Lucy got pregnant again and had 9 babies. Jack and Jill are very active and constantly climb trees, race each other and they love to play with toys; I decided that two fast cats should get a chance at One Fast Cat, so I took it outside and set it on the front deck. Within 15 minutes, Jill was on the wheel, running so fast that she threw herself off. She wasn't hurt and got right back on. Jack impatiently waited until she got off for a drink of water and he was on it! I moved the wheel out back onto the covered Tea House floor so Jill wouldn't get a sunstroke and they both run on it several times a day. One day I saw them both on it, facing in opposite directions and both of them trying to get the wheel to go in the direction they were facing. The wheel wouldn't/couldn't go either direction but it was hilarious to watch. Now Big Lucy's kittens are coming outside and have been checking out the Wheel. Jack has taken it upon himself to be Lucy's baby (kitten) sitter and plays with his brothers and sisters all day while Lucy gets some free time. Jack started teaching the little ones how to run on the wheel yesterday. I can't wait to see them play on it by themselves. BTW: we live in the country so it's not uncommon to have more than one or two cats. It's not as common to have 12, but it's no longer unheard of! Big Lucy has had her last litter though. I was horrified when I started thinking about how many kittens she might have if she got in the "family way" again! Must go - I have to order replacement pads for the wheel; the ones on it are worn out!
